Fonelogic is an Internet Phone Company so we have the ability to port your existing phone numbers free of charge.
(To port means to switch a telephone number from one Phone Company to another).
* Porting Service is not available in all areas. Please see the map for porting availability.
Please note that not all cities in the states that show portability on the map will have porting service available.
Number Porting Process:
When you sign up for service with Fonelogic and choose to keep your existing telephone number,
you will be assigned a temporary number. This temporary number will be active until you authorize
Fonelogic to transfer your existing number to your new service with Fonelogic. Your current telephone
service provider may deny this request for various reasons such as unpaid account charges, prior agreement
by you that you won't request number transfers, etc... Transferring your telephone number can take up to 4
weeks, depending on your current telephone service provider. Fonelogic will make every effort to help you keep
your existing phone number.
Please Do Not contact your current telephone service provider to disconnect your service.
Your telephone service will be automatically disconnected upon transfer to Fonelogic.
Steps you need to take:
- Our customer service department will determine if your current telephone number is portable and can be transferred over to Fonelogic.
- Once we determine that your telephone number is eligible to be transferred over to Fonelogic,
you must download and fill out an LOA form, this form must show the same name and address that is on your current telephone bill.
- Please make a copy of your most recent telephone bill for the number that you wish to be transferred.
** Please note that the phone number that you wish to port, or transfer over,
must be shown on your most recent telephone bill along with the address and name that is on the account.
This will be the same name and address that will be on your new Fonelogic account.
- Please sign and date the LOA form. You must be aware that LOA's are only valid for 30 days.
- Please fax the LOA form along with the copy of your most recent telephone bill to (248) 426-8899.

- Due to reasons that are not in our control, the number transfer process may take up to 2 to 4 weeks.
- Please note that any rejected port request will be cancelled after 7 days of inactivity
